How Did I Come Up With A PR Marketing Guide
Published Nov. 1, 2015
I get asked often how I came up with AwareLabs as a marketing guide?
The short story, I saw a need to bring sanity to online marketing and PR that fit small business. The long story includes everything from the concept, to monetization, to one-a-months, to building something that fits my abilities.
I've bundled my expertise so business can focus on execution.
The concept and the monetization are simple. First, I do the research and compile a list of PR and marketing tasks. Second I organize those tasks into groups to reduce context switching. Third, I arrange the groups into a sequence that build on the previous sequences to ensure everything happens in the optimal order. Fourth, I charge customers to see the list or if they choose, to complete the list for them.
A product is only as good as the founding teams ability to bring it to market.
Everything else is a product of my experience as an entrepreneur. I've learned to keep things simple, focus on a very concise product, and work on projects that fit my abilities. With 10 years of experience building online products and working at startups, I've developed an understanding that a product is only as good as the founding teams ability to reach the market. AwareLabs is centered on that principle from product design to marketing.
Every day, I find AwareLabs very useful for my own projects as well as clients. AwareLabs has paid for itself several times over. Its a great repository for me to assimilate new online marketing tools and not forget about them later. I'm adding something new every week, its really helped me hit all the marketing angles on new projects. Feedback on the product from entrepreneurs and agencies alike is positive, its nice to be validated.
